Training & Approval
As soon as you’ve decided that you want to become a Topseal approved installer, you need to complete an application form and arrange to enrol on the official Topseal installer training course.
Initial Training
Initial training is a full three-day course at the Topseal dedicated training facilities in Harrogate, Yorkshire. The intensive training course is in-depth and covers a number of key elements, essential to ensure that you achieve the high standards expected of all Topseal approved installers.
Training includes:
- Good housekeeping practices
- Understanding Topseal specification
- Topseal theory
- Topseal product training
- Installation demonstrations and guidance
- Practical installation
- Learning how to trouble-shoot and problem solve with Topseal
- Health & Safety training
- Understanding the installer charter
- Individual practical skills and knowledge assessment
- On-site assessment
Once you’ve completed the initial training you are then overseen on-site ensuring all elements of the installation are to our standards. As a Topseal installer you will have full access to our extensive, industry-leading technical and on-site support.
On-site training
You’ll receive expert on-site training, including advice on application and assistance to enable to you to successfully install a Topseal system to the quality standards expected by Topseal. There will be an individual assessment carried out to ensure that you meet the required standards, prior to you becoming an official Topseal approved installer.
Ongoing quality assessments
As part of the customer charter, every Topseal approved installer must agree to courtesy calls after every completed job, so that quality standards can be maintained. Additionally, random on-site quality control inspections are carried out by Topseal, to check the quality of work and maintain our consistently high standards across the nationwide network of approved Topseal installers.
Keeping up-to date with system advances
You will be provided with regular Health & Safety updates, technical advances and market information. With regular contact from Topseal, you’ll ensure that your business remains ahead of the competition in your area.
