Choosing the right flat roofing system for your home

Choosing the right flat roofing system for your home

Topseal offer a range of advanced GRP flat roofing systems that are perfect for homes, as they are strong, durable and designed to last a lifetime. Each roof boasts a unique topcoat, which creates a completely watertight finish with no unsightly seams giving you excellent protection from moisture.

We’ve been installing our GRP roofs for more than twenty years and have perfected each system, which is why we’re sure you’ll be pleased with the results. Our systems include TopsealHD, which is made using a strong 600g/m2 reinforcement mat making it the ideal choice for balconies, external walkways, stairs and other areas designed for foot traffic. If you don’t need this extra reinforcement then why not go for our standard Topseal flat roof or add a bit of nature to your roof with Topseal GreenTop, which is available with a sedum or wildflower finish.

There is also more than a thousand combinations of different colours and specialist finishes available, which you can see more of in our downloadable brochure.

Each of our roofing systems is created using the same quality materials and is much stronger than other types of roofing such as felt and rubber. Felt can damage easily and the seams can often come apart over time, allowing moisture to get in. Rubber roofs can also damage easily and degrade when up against the elements, whereas Topseal GRP roofs are seamless, weatherproof and can withstand the impact from falling items like roof tiles.

If you’re still not convinced about the quality of our roofs then let our guarantees do the talking, as each roof comes with a product and workmanship guarantee ranging from 20 to 40 year, so you can be sure that your brand new roof will be protected for many years. If you’re someone who likes to take extra care then why not choose one of our optional insolvency guarantees.

We aim to be as environmentally sustainable and safe as possible, which is why we hold an internationally recognised ISO:14001 environmental management certification and ensure that all of the timber used in our products comes from fully certified FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) members. We are also approved by the British Board of Agrement (BBA) and hold an ISO:19001 certification, which is an international quality standard.

Once you’ve made your selection and ordered your new roof our approved installer will arrange a date and time to start the installation, which will be carried out by our highly trained and approved installers. We train each installer ourselves to ensure that they are familiar with every part of our products and systems, so we know that everything will go together correctly. Plus, with a huge nationwide network of installers there is sure to be one nearby, so you shouldn’t need to wait long before installation begins.
